When we were in Germany, we had spargle (white asparagus), so I wanted to try to make some here. This recipe came out very good. You can top it with a homemade hollandaise sauce (or just use the package mixture you buy in the store).
Ingredients
1 bunch of white asparagus
olive oil
salt
garlic salt
pepper
hollandaise sauce
Cooking Directions
Heat oven to 400 degrees.
Clean and trim asparagus.
On a foil covered baking sheet, drizzle the asparagus with olive oil. Lightly top with salts and pepper. Toss (shake pan).
Bake for 13 minutes.
Top with hollandaise sauce.
I started with these pictures late - so this is out of the oven. The other prep steps are fairly self explanatory.
