Corn N' Bacon

This is unbelievably simple - but unbelievably good.

 

Ingredients

A few slices of bacon (4 - 6)
1 package of frozen or canned corn

 

Cooking Directions

Cook bacon in a medium skillet over medium heat until brown and crisp. Remove from skillet to a paper towel-lined plate. Let cool and break into medium pieces.

If using canned corn, drain and rinse the corn. Add corn to skillet and cook over medium heat in the rendered bacon fat. When corn is tender, add bacon pieces. Stir well and season to taste.

 

Slice the bacon and cook it then set aside and leave the fat in the pan.

Add the bacon back to the corn when the corn is just about cooked (about 8 minutes)
