I have to thank Mrs. Hunter for this one. At our IDMD Christmas party, this was a great dessert. Pretty easy to make -- tastes great and has a great "Wow" appeal in a glass dish. This recipe can easily be doubled for a party. Also, when we made it, we used all of the lower fat (or lite) varieties and everything still came out pretty tasty.

Cooking Directions
Break the Oreo cookies into pieces.

Crush the Oreos

The level of crushness is up to you. You can also use a zip lock bag and rolling pin.

Make pudding according to directions (and, by all means, use a helper)
Place pudding, whipped topping and softened cream cheese in a bowl.

We start by mixing by hand.

Then use a hand mixer

Until smooth.
Layer crushed cookies & pudding mix (a clear bowl is better, but we didn't have one that big)
Continue to layer as ingredients allow.
